PTHS Hall-of-Famer Buck Casson returns for his 5th year at the helm of the Indians FR/SO baseball team.  Following an All-State career as a football player for the Indians, Casson received a BA in Kinesiology fro Rice University in Houston, TX, where he received Academic All-Conference Honors in football as a starting inside linebacker for the Owls.  He earned his PE degree from Illinois State University in 2012.  Our head Football coach from 2013-2018, Coach Casson serves PTHS as a Physical Education educator.  He is involved with Special Olympics and the PTHS Unified Athletics programs and is a certified lifeguard.  Among his personal achievements, Casson holds the 1st Grade 100 yard dash record at the annual St. Marys/St. Pauls Track & Field Day, was a consensus IHSA All-State Linebacker, and is among the select few to lead the Saunemin Coca-Cola Classic 5/6 Tournament in scoring in 1997.  He resides in Pontiac.
